This took a long time to get off the ground but we finally launched the website in November. It was a combined effort by Trek Trails SAGE Alliance and many other organizations to get this site up and running after a devastating fire and torrential rains.
From the website: Founded in 2020, The Trek Trails Rancho Alegre trail system is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley directly across from Lake Cachuma. Featuring five miles of bike optimized trails, with plans to build another five miles and rider access to forest service fire roads. The 215-acre property is situated among majestic oak trees, Larsen Meadow, natural creeks, and is home to an abundance of wildlife.
The trails are open to the public on designated days. Visitors must sign a Liability Release prior to riding. The trails are also used by the Los Padres Council Boy Scouts of America, The Outdoor School and the Golden State South National Interscholastic Cycling Association. The trail system is built and maintained by SAGE Trail Alliance.
